October 11th is International Day of the Girl. A global celebration of girls' rights, voices, and potential. And at The Lemonade Circle, we celebrated in the most fitting way possible: with a Black Hair Care Workshop.

Our hair is more than just hair. It's culture. Its identity. It's a crown we wear with pride. And for too long, Black girls have been told their natural hair is unprofessional, distracting, or not good enough. That stops with us.

At this workshop, our Lemonade Girls learned about hair care routines, protective styles, and the importance of embracing their natural beauty. They talked about the Crown Act, representation, and what it means to walk into any space with confidence, knowing that their hair is perfect exactly as it is.

This wasn't just about products and techniques. It was about reclaiming something that's been used to diminish Black girls for far too long. It was about reminding our members that they don't have to change who they are to be accepted. They just have to show up as themselves.

On International Day of the Girl, we made it clear: our girls are worthy. Their voices matter. And their crowns? Absolutely untouchable.
