4th Annual UT Health STEM Summit: Hands-On, Real Futures

On January 10th, we celebrated FOUR YEARS of partnership with UT Health San Antonio for our annual STEM Leadership Summit... and this year might have been the biggest yet.

Our girls didn't just sit and listen to someone talk about STEM careers. They got their hands dirty.

Over rotating workshops, they learned how to pack a wound, stitch like a surgeon, and stop bleeding in emergencies. They worked with physical therapists to understand body mechanics. They operated ultrasound equipment. They explored prosthetics and orthotics with specialists who design devices that change people's lives, and trained with sports medicine professionals.

And at the end of the day, they heard from experts about how AI is transforming the medical field.

These weren't passive presentations. They were real, hands-on experiences led by medical students and STEM professionals who showed our girls exactly what's possible if they pursue these careers.

The point wasn't just to spark interest. It was to show them they already belong in these spaces. Curiosity and confidence matter just as much as a perfect GPA.

Someone is doing it, and they can too.

Thank you to UT Health San Antonio for four years of opening doors, and to every volunteer who made this day possible. You didn't just teach our girls about STEM, you showed them their future.
