Earlier this month, our Lemonade Girls stepped onto the campus of Texas A&M University–San Antonio as part of our College & Career Empowerment Circle, we believe that exposure leads to empowerment. That’s why we were thrilled to offer this immersive college experience designed to demystify higher education and give our girls a firsthand look at what’s possible for their futures.

They toured the TAMUSA campus, asked questions, and imagined themselves as college students walking those very halls. Our girls attended a mock college class led by Professor Brandi Coleman, the founder of The Lemonade Circle and a faculty member at Texas A&M–San Antonio. Brandi led the class, breaking down college expectations and building up the girls’ confidence. She offered real talk on everything from course loads to personal responsibility, reminding them that they already have what it takes to thrive in higher ed.

In addition to the classroom experience, the girls learned about essential college readiness steps they can start working on right now—from practicing time management and self-advocacy to exploring scholarships, majors, and career pathways. The visit sparked powerful conversations around goal setting, personal motivation, and the importance of preparation. Most importantly, our Lemonade Girls left feeling seen, capable, and excited about the road ahead.

This experience is part of a greater mission. Our College & Career Circle is designed to prepare our girls for their futures by offering real-world exposure, mentorship, and support.
At The Lemonade Circle, we’re not just dreaming about success—we’re showing our girls what it looks like, feels like, and how to get there.
