C3 Advocacy Program | Lemonade Circle

Launched in partnership with IDRA, the C3 Advocacy Leadership Program is a two-year fellowship that builds the Classroom-Capitol-College pipeline for Black middle and high school girls in Bexar County, Texas.

Rooted in Lemonade Circle's Empowerment Circle Model, C3 amplifies the innate advocacy powers of 21 young women, equipping them to challenge the systems that harm them, shape the policies that affect their communities, and lead the change they deserve.

ABOUT THE C3 PROGRAM:

Year One:
Build Your Foundation Fellows explore the systems that shape their schools and communities. Through workshops, conversations, and field experiences, they learn how decisions are made — and how to advocate for better ones.

Cohort Community
Fellows join a sisterhood of 21 Black girls from Bexar County, moving through the program together, supporting one another, and building collective power.

Leadership Portfolio
very fellow creates a portfolio throughout the program documenting her growth, her advocacy work, and her vision — a powerful tool for college applications and beyond.

Real-World Advocacy
Fellows don't just learn about change, they make it. C3 connects young advocates to real civic experiences, real decision-makers, and real opportunities to be heard.

Year Two:
Lead the Change Fellows step into leadership, applying everything they've built to advocate for issues they care about in their schools, communities, and beyond.

Completion Celebration
Fellows are celebrated for their journey, recognized for their growth, their courage, and their commitment to building a better world.
